- Grand Tasting Weekend: The centerpiece of the festival takes place on Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th at Surf Sports Park in Del Mar. Attendees can enjoy tastings from 200+ wines, beers, and spirits alongside offerings from 100+ top chefs, beloved local restaurants, and exhibitors.

Founded by longtime San Diego locals, the Del Mar Wine + Food Festival is designed as the “ultimate cookout” — blending bold Baja flavors, international wines, craft brews, and the relaxed SoCal lifestyle. Celebrity ambassadors like soccer star Alex Morgan, NFL legend Drew Brees, and surf icon Rob Machado add star power, while Food Network personality and San Diego Magazine co-owner Troy Johnson serves as host.
Giving Back
A portion of proceeds supports Feeding San Diego, an organization that rescues surplus food and distributes it to those facing hunger in the region. Festival-goers can also participate in food drives and other initiatives to amplify the impact.
