Hedary’s Mediterranean is celebrating its long-awaited Las Vegas grand opening on Friday, October 2, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 9275 W. Russell Road, The Gramercy. Guests can enjoy complimentary 3-Dip Tasters with the purchase of any alcoholic beverage or lemonade, $7 sangrias all day, and live music from 6 to 9 p.m.
For more than six decades, Hedary’s has been a story of family, food, and the places a table can take you. The first location opened in 1960; the family brought the restaurant to Texas in 1976. Now, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of that original Texas chapter, the story continues in Las Vegas. Known for fresh, wood-fire baked pitas, flavorful Lebanese-inspired dishes, and signature cocktails, Hedary’s invites diners to experience the tradition that has defined the brand for generations.
America Restaurant and Bar, the round-the-clock Las Vegas institution at New York-New York Hotel & Casino, has undergone a complete remodel, delivering a bold new bar and dining room, an expanded all-hours menu and a striking projection experience built around the restaurant’s original sculptural U.S. map.
“Seeing the transformation fully realized, America feels more energetic and inviting from the moment someone walks through the door,” said Keith Eure, senior vice president of Ark Las Vegas Restaurant Corp. “It is a fresh experience built for the way Las Vegas dines any time of day, from breakfast in the middle of the night to fun Sunday brunches and late-night dinners and drinks, whether you’re visiting Las Vegas for work or play, or working on the Strip and seeking a spot to wind down after your shift.”
The new design of the massive 10,000-square-foot restaurant was overseen by renowned architectural firm Zebra Global. The palette trades the diner’s familiar red, white and blue for richer colors of warm terracotta, deep walnut and jewel-toned teal that celebrate the landscape of America itself. Soaring ceilings and a dramatic faux skylight create the feel of natural sunlight while echoing the original America Restaurant in New York City. Checkerboard tile and warm wood flooring establish a retro-American foundation, while vibrant, large-scale artwork in fiery reds and oranges lines the walls throughout, punctuating the dining room and bar with color and energy.
The newly expanded bar and lounge is anchored by a sweeping U-shaped bar wrapped in glowing teal tile and topped with white stone. Emerald bar stools with brass accents line the room, while archways framed by vivid, large-scale artwork rise above a wall of TVs, ready for game-day crowds. The main dining room unfolds beneath a soaring ceiling etched with the restaurant’s iconic U.S. map, its state lines tracing overhead as a subtle nod to the sculptural centerpiece below. Warm wood flooring and pillars wrapped in cream tile ground the space, softened by curved banquette seating in dusty rose and teal booths tucked beneath dark wood dividers. Teal chairs and marble-topped tables fill the room, while potted palms and warm pendant lighting add pockets of texture and glow throughout.
Executive Chef Brandon Flores has rounded out the menu with a handful of innovative new selections. Available 24 hours daily, breakfast brings a one-pound, family-size doughnut made for sharing and peanut butter and jelly pancakes layered with peanut butter sauce and strawberry preserves, joining the restaurant’s signature “3-Pounder” giant pancake on the breakfast lineup. Later in the day, new arrivals include a cauliflower steak with tomato confit, radish and crispy shallots and a wood-fired flatbread topped with prosciutto and arugula.
America’s late-night menu keeps the pace of the Las Vegas Strip’s nonstop energy, with favorites ranging from a hearty barbecue bacon Western burger topped with pulled pork, onion ring, smoked bacon and cheddar, to lighter dishes such as a super berry acai bowl with granola, fresh berries, banana, chia seeds and a drizzle of honey. The restaurant remains a go-to stop for Las Vegas hospitality workers grabbing a bite and a drink after late-night shifts, alongside locals and visitors passing through around the clock.
Desserts and cocktails add a touch of whimsy, with treats like a churro milkshake featuring cinnamon-sugar custard, caramel and whipped cream and a banana split served tableside. Behind the bar, the cocktail lineup features the Fruity Booty, a tropical blend of Appleton rum, Grand Marnier, Luxardo and pineapple; the Cadillac Sunrise with Fletcha Azul, Grand Marnier, raspberry, citrus and cranberry; and sippable desserts in a glass, including the Strawberry Shortcake Loop served in a donut-shaped glass and topped with cotton candy and the Banana Foster Flip with Appleton Estate rum, banana, brown sugar spice and egg white.
America opened in 1997, the same year New York-New York debuted, drawing inspiration from the original restaurant, an iconic New York City destination that was established in 1984 and remained open until 2005.
America is a gathering place for locals, hospitality professionals and Las Vegas visitors for breakfast, lunch and dinner any time of day or night. HDTVs throughout the dining room and bar make America a popular destination for sports viewing and major game day celebrations.
Located just steps from T-Mobile Arena at New York-New York Hotel & Casino, 3790 S. Las Vegas Blvd., America is open 24 hours a day. Reservations are available through OpenTable, and more information is available at AmericaLV.com and on Instagram and Facebook.

El Cortez Hotel & Casino, now celebrating a remarkable 85 years, has announced an early fall opening for Alex Prime, a luxury New York-style steakhouse in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas. The announcement reflects the continued revitalization of El Cortez under Las Vegas icon Kenny Epstein, whose leadership has long centered on honoring the property’s irreplaceable legacy while positioning it as a destination for a new generation of guests.
“There is nothing quite like a truly great dining experience, and that’s exactly what we’re bringing to Downtown Las Vegas with Alex Prime,” said Bart Mahoney, vice president of hospitality for El Cortez. “We have assembled an exceptional team with a singular goal in mind: to set a new benchmark for luxury dining in Downtown Las Vegas.”

Leading that team is David Robins, one of the industry’s foremost authorities on fine dining, whose career spans some of the most acclaimed culinary destinations around the globe. “From the caliber of service to the quality of cuisine, we are creating Alex Prime to bring the vision Kenny Epstein has for a luxury steakhouse to life,” said Robins.
Alex Prime is the next chapter for a property that has been part of Las Vegas history since 1941, from its early days under figures like Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel and Meyer Lansky to the era of Rat Pack regulars who made it a fixture of classic Vegas casinos.
The menu is anchored by USDA Prime cuts, the gold standard of beef, showcasing a range of expertly prepared steaks alongside slow-roasted prime rib. Fresh seafood selections include chef-driven signature dishes and premium shellfish. Italian-rooted pasta dishes lend a sense of old-world heritage, while starters reflect a mix of classic and contemporary selections. Showstopping desserts round out the program. Executive Chef Joe Swan, whose expertise is rooted in East Coast kitchens, will oversee the menu.
The beverage program features a highly curated wine collection built around New World varietals and classics, with selections chosen to pair with the menu’s USDA Prime beef and premium seafood. The cocktail menu balances steakhouse standards, including expertly crafted martinis and old fashioneds, with signature creations that draw on the lore of El Cortez itself.
Designed by Kenneth Ussenko Design with architecture by Jive Architecture, the dining room channels both the building’s 1941 origins and a clean, contemporary sensibility. Emerald green banquettes, cognac leather seating, richly paneled walls with gold detailing, arched mirrored cabinetry and coffered ceilings create a space that is simultaneously retro and thoroughly current. The restaurant is being constructed by Harris Associates. The dining room will seat more than 150 guests. The restaurant will be situated a few steps from the casino’s main entrance, which offers complimentary valet parking.
The opening of Alex Prime marks another milestone in El Cortez’s ongoing transformation under Epstein, who purchased the property in 2008 from Las Vegas casino legend and his mentor, Jackie Gaughan. Gaughan owned El Cortez for 45 years and famously lived on the top floor with his wife, a residence that has been preserved in his honor as the iconic Jackie Gaughan Suite. Recent investments have further elevated the property, including an expanded casino floor and fully remodeled guest rooms.
Alex Prime will open daily starting at 5 p.m. For more information and updates, visit alexprimesteaklv.com and follow @alexprimesteaklv on Instagram and TikTok and on Facebook.com/alexprimesteaklv.

Durango Social Club, the Spring Valley restaurant from Chef/Owner Dan Krohmer, has announced a permanent culinary collaboration with Executive Chef Crystina “Mama” Nguyen, marking the next chapter for the restaurant with a menu centered on Vietnamese comfort food and a shared commitment to genuine hospitality.
Since opening in August 2025, Durango Social Club has evolved through a series of culinary collaborations while remaining true to Krohmer’s vision of creating a welcoming neighborhood restaurant. With Nguyen now leading the kitchen as executive chef, the restaurant takes its permanent shape through approachable à la carte dining, Vietnamese comfort food and genuine hospitality.
Located at 3655 S. Durango Drive, Suite 29, in the shopping center at the corner of Durango Drive and Twain Avenue, Durango Social Club is part of the same retail center as Krohmer’s acclaimed Other Mama. The intimate, 55-seat restaurant welcomes both reservations and walk-in guests, while a combination of signature menu items, daily specials and seasonal offerings ensures there’s always something new to discover.
“I’ve always envisioned Durango Social Club as a place where hospitality professionals could create, collaborate and build something meaningful together,” said Krohmer. “Over the past year, the restaurant has continued to evolve, but the vision has always been the same. Now that Mama’s ‘home,’ it feels like we’ve found exactly what Durango Social Club was meant to become.”

Known to many Las Vegas diners for her time at the beloved District One Kitchen & Bar, Nguyen brings a deeply personal approach to Vietnamese cooking that balances tradition with her own perspective and years of culinary experience. Her philosophy centers on creating food that is comforting, approachable and meant to bring people together around the table.
That philosophy comes to life throughout the menu, from signature starters including Mama’s Gỏi, featuring shredded chicken, shrimp, fried tofu, cabbage, fresh herbs and crispy shallots served in a black sesame rice paper bowl; and Chả Giò, crispy pork and shrimp spring rolls served with fresh herbs and housemade nước chấm; to rotating Bánh Bột Lọc, traditional tapioca dumplings wrapped in banana leaves with a seasonal filling. Guests can also look forward to a rotating Vietnamese-inspired soup and daily specials that reflect the kitchen’s creativity.
Entrées include the Bánh Mì Fried Mortadella, layered with crispy mortadella, pickled daikon and carrot, cilantro and roasted jalapeño aioli on a French baguette; Bò Né, sizzling marinated beef served with eggs, pâté, blistered tomato and baguette; the Surf & Turf Vermicelli Bowl with marinated ribeye, shrimp, fresh herbs and roasted peanuts; and Cơm Gà Roti, five-spice crispy chicken served with tomato jasmine rice, cucumber salad and Thai chili chimichurri. Dessert features the Vietnamese Egg Coffee Pie, created in collaboration with Pop & Pies, alongside traditional Vietnamese iced coffee.
“My goal has always been to cook food that makes people feel at home,” said Nguyen. “Vietnamese food is rooted in sharing, comfort and bringing people together around the table. Working alongside Dan gives us the opportunity to build something lasting, where guests know they’ll always find great food, genuine hospitality and something new to discover.”
The culinary experience is complemented by a mixology-forward cocktail program featuring signature creations such as the DSC Martini, Lychee Cooler and Chente, as well as a curated selection of wines by the glass and bottle, beer, zero-proof beverages and other seasonal offerings.
Durango Social Club is open Wednesday through Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. at 3655 S. Durango Drive, Suite 29, Las Vegas, Nevada 89147. Reservations are encouraged and may be made by calling (725) 205-9846 or visiting durangosocial.com.

NADC (“Not a Damn Chance”) Burger, the viral Wagyu burger concept from professional skateboarder Neen Williams and Michelin-starred chef Phillip Frankland Lee of Scratch Restaurants Group (including the Michelin-starred Pasta|Bar), will officially open its first permanent Las Vegas location at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 15th in Downtown Las Vegas. To celebrate the brand’s first permanent Las Vegas location, Williams will be onsite for a meet-and-greet, kicking off opening day festivities.
Following overwhelming demand from its three-month pop-up at Resorts World Las Vegas last summer, the new location at 124 S. Sixth St., Suite 150, marks NADC Burger’s continued expansion, bringing the concept to a dozen locations nationwide.

“After our pop-up last summer, it feels right to head into this summer with a permanent location right in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas,” said Williams. “There’s an energy here that matches how we approach the food. We’re focused on delivering flavor, balance and quality every single time, and we’re excited to continue building a connection with the Las Vegas community.”
Located just steps away from the bustling Fremont East District, the new NADC Burger space will follow its proven fast-casual model, serving a streamlined two-item menu built for repeat cravings: the brand’s signature 100% Wagyu burger and beef tallow fries. The space will mirror NADC’s signature look, with skate memorabilia and work from local artists lining the walls, while ’90s skate videos play throughout the restaurant.
At the center of the menu is the flagship NADC Burger, intentionally built as a departure from the smashburger trend. Instead of pressing the beef thin on the grill, NADC builds its burger with two three-ounce patties of 100 percent Wagyu beef using a rich 70/30 blend. The patties are seasoned generously and topped with chopped raw onions that steam directly into the meat as it cooks, creating a crisp sear on one side and a juicier, more tender bite throughout. The result is a burger designed for balance, texture and flavor in every bite, rather than a thin, compressed patty.
Finished with New School Cheese, a chef-driven take on classic American cheese designed for optimal melt, each burger is briefly rested steak-style before being served on a toasted Martin’s potato roll with house-made secret sauce, pickles for balance and four “tamed” pickled jalapeños for added flavor without heat. Guests can pair it with beef tallow fries or upgrade to Beast Mode fries, loaded with cheese, pickles, jalapeños and special sauce.
Rounding out the experience, the restaurant will offer a full bar with beer, wine and cocktails, as well as NADC’s signature house-made brown butter chocolate chip cookies.
Recently named by Food & Wine as one of the top burger spots in the U.S. for iconic regional flavors, NADC Burger has built a cult following nationwide, with locations in Austin, Chicago, New York City, Denver, Dallas and Los Angeles, among other markets. The concept was born from an unlikely friendship between Williams and Lee, sparked by a shared love of skateboarding and cooking. What began in 2021 as skate sessions and backyard burgers for friends and family quickly grew into something bigger, with the duo popping up at skate parks and comedy shows, handing out free burgers while refining the recipe for nearly a year before opening their first location in 2022.
Nearly four years and several locations later, NADC Burger has attracted a devoted fan base, including celebrity fans like David Beckham, Jelly Roll and DJ Zedd, and continues to live up to the hype with its nostalgia-forward Wagyu cheeseburger and fries that keep people coming back — and talking.
“Our goal has always been to make a damn good cheeseburger and have fun with it,” said Chef Frankland Lee. “What NADC has turned into is something we’re really proud of. It’s simple food, but it’s done with a lot of intention and consistency. Las Vegas showed up for us in a big way, and it made it clear we needed to come back in a more permanent way. Opening downtown puts us right in the middle of it all and gives us the chance to keep building on what makes this burger different, starting with using 100 percent Wagyu and taking a more deliberate approach to how it’s cooked, rather than just grilling a burger. The end result is a delicious Wagyu burger, always juicy and never smashed.”
NADC Burger Las Vegas will be open daily from 11:30 a.m. to midnight and joins a growing lineup of locations nationwide, including its flagship location in Austin, Chicago, New York City, Denver, Dallas, Los Angeles, and other cities, each driven by the simple mission to make the perfect double cheeseburger.

The Food
Braseria will offer a blend of beloved French dishes, Spanish classics, and new global flavors from EDO Hospitality’s award-winning chef team.
“I’ve always loved French cuisine and brasserie fare – some of my strongest food memories are from flavors I’ve had at brasseries in France,” said Tayden Poha-Ellamar, EDO Hospitality Corporate Chef. “When our EDO Hospitality team started talking about a French and Spanish restaurant here in Las Vegas, I thought a lot about what the food should look like – how do we make it our own? Our goal was to combine French and Spanish technique and flavors with global ingredients and influence to reinterpret brasserie food.”
EDO Hospitality’s reputation for culinary genius will continue at Braseria with offerings including cold bar staples like Oysters; Hamachi Crudo; and Caviar & Churros –Kaluga caviar, buckwheat churro, crème fraiche, capers, egg, and chives; Frites: Truffled Panisse; and an EDO favorite: Bravas.
Appetizers include a Tableside Beef Tartare; Golden Tartare; Escargot; the group’s signature 30-Day Dry Aged Striploin Carpaccio –puri-bread, Payoyo cheese espuma, and black truffle vinaigrette; Croquetas, Paletilla de Jamon; Prawn Cigares; and Foie Gras Tart – seared foie, stewed apple, calvados caramel, and pecan crumble.
Featured entrees include pasta and rice dishes like Ravioles du Dauphiné, Parisian Gnocchi and Risotto; seafood including Roasted Cod, Miso Glazed Lobster Thermidor, and Whole Dover Sole; and meats like Pluma Iberica, Braised Short Rib, and classic steaks cooked in a Mibrasa grill.
To complete the dining experience, desserts like Chocolate Tart, Vanilla Crème Brûlée, Banana Paris Brest, and Coconut Mojitos will be offered.
“I’m excited to see how people react to the restaurant,” said Chef Tayden. “While it may be a familiar concept, the experience at Braseria will be unique – redefining expectations is what EDO Hospitality is known for. We’ve created something special for Las Vegas.”
Chartreuse, Cocktails, Wine, and More
Braseria’s beverage program – led by Sommelier and EDO Hospitality Co-Founder Joseph Mikulich – will feature a blend of Spanish and French wines and a cocktail program focused on fresh ingredients and classic French cocktails.
