Golden Road & the Rams: Pairing an Iconic Los Angeles Beer with Los Angeles Football

Football is back in Los Angeles, and for Rams fans, that means it’s time to find a good place to watch the game, grab a cold beer and enjoy some gameday camaraderie. Golden Road Brewing, the Official Craft Beer Partner of the Los Angeles Rams, is bringing the action to its four Los Angeles-area brewpubs throughout the season with watch parties featuring big LED screens, ticket giveaways, souvenir cups and Blitz Blonde, a special beer brewed with football season in mind. With the Rams kicking off their home schedule Monday, September 21st, Golden Road is ready to turn its brewpubs into gathering spots for fans looking to cheer on the Rams with a local beer in hand.

Where to Watch the Rams

Golden Road’s four brewpubs will serve as the main destinations for the brewery’s Rams gameday programming throughout the season:

  • Golden Road Brewing – Atwater Village
  • Golden Road Brewing – Anaheim
  • Golden Road Brewing – Downtown Los Angeles inside Grand Central Market
  • Golden Road Brewing – Huntington Harbour

Each location will offer the gameday atmosphere, including Rams watch parties, big-screen viewing, Golden Road beer and food specials. Fans can also look for opportunities to win Rams tickets throughout the season. With four different locations, you are sure to find one near you and each venue gives you a unique setting and experience. If you visit Anaheim, you can enjoy the Orange County weather and beauty with a giant outdoor setting that is perfect for any group size and truly is hard to beat for an afternoon game. Huntington Harbour, the name says it all, you can enjoy the game while overlooking the harbor and you are also a short walk from the beach. Atwater Village is the original Golden Road location and offers up a variety of ways to enjoy the game and your beer.

The brewery’s Blitz Blonde will be available on tap as a special gameday beer, giving Rams fans another seasonal option while they watch the action. Golden Road is also featuring a gameday Pitcher + Nashville Chicken & Fries special, pairing a pitcher of Golden Road beer with a bucket of Nashville-style chicken and fries. If you are looking for the perfect combination for a Sunday or Monday spent watching football with friends, this is it. If you are looking for the all-time Golden Road classic Mango Cart, you can of course find it at any Golden Road location as well as at SoFi Stadium. Regardless of your beer preference, when you visit Golden Road, you are going to have a plethora of choices and you can usually count on seeing something new as the brewers are always at work coming up with something new for you to try.

And it’s not just about the beer. Golden Road’s food menu offers plenty of options to go along with the game, including the avocado tacos, which are a great choice for something a little lighter. Two of the must order dishes, especially if you are in a group, the pub pretzel and the poke nachos. A lot of breweries do a pub pretzel, but there is something about the Golden Road version that tops them all. First off, it is just monstrous in size and while it is big, somehow they have managed to keep it soft and tender throughout and in house-made beer cheese and Bavarian mustard are a truly elevated dipping experience. The poke nachos are definitely shareable, but they are so good you might just go solo when ordering this with the fresh Ahi Tuna that is brought to life with eel sauce, siracha, aioli and wasabi on freshly made wonton chips. There are also an impressive number of vegan options, making it easy for everyone in the group to find something to eat while settling in for a Rams game. From shareable bites to burgers, tacos and more, there’s enough variety to keep even the non-beer drinkers happy.

If you can’t make it to SoFi or follow the Rams on the road, there’s no better pairing for gameday than a cold Golden Road beer while watching the team. With four distinctly different venues spread across Southern California, you’ll have no trouble finding a barstool, grabbing an ice-cold Golden Road and settling in for the Rams, along with plenty of other football throughout the fall.
